Stephanie Lewis, 62, lost her battle with cancer on August 18, 2022 surrounded by those she loved the most. She leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her family and friends who treasured her engaging friendliness, amusing conversation, and caring nature.Stephanie was born on December 16, 1959, to Steven Santaniello and Gloria Mazza Santaniello.After graduating from Wall Township High School, she attended Pace University, in White Plains, NY.She had one child, Keith (K.C.) Lewis, who she was devoted to. Her dedication to making her son's childhood a happy one was her greatest joy. The simplest pleasures of life such as taking care of her pets, gardening, and cooking made her world. She had a passionate love for anything containing an abundance of sugar.Her genuine care for all children's education led her to serve as a member of the Wall Township Board of Education from 1996 through 2002.Stephanie was predeceased by her father, Steven, in 2010. She is survived by her mother, Gloria, her son K.C. and his fiancée, Desiree' Shrode, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.A funeral mass will be held for Stephanie on Wednesday, August 24, at 11:00 AM At Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 1201 Asbury Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 115 Wall Street, West Long Branch, NJ.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any animal support organization of your choice on her behalf.
