Ruth E. Hausman Miller, 102, of Ocean Grove, died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Manor-by-the-Sea, Ocean Grove. Mrs. Miller was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove, the Ocean Chapter No. 214, Order of the Eastern Star and the Ocean Grove Women's Club. She was active with the Senior Citizen's group of the Salvation Army and formerly with the Home League. Born in Catasaqua, PA, she grew up in Allentown, PA then lived in Kearny for twenty years and Stirling, NJ for fourteen years before coming here over 40 years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard H. Miller in 1977 and by her daughter and son in law, Lorraine M. and Albert Leach. Surviving is her grandson, Douglas Leach and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday June 1 from 10:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, PA. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, New York Embury Avenues, Ocean Grove, NJ 07756 would be appreciated.
