, of Ocean Grove, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at home. She was born in New York City on December 9, 1933 to James J. and Catherine Patterson Farley. She attended catholic schools and had fond memories of St. Jean Baptiste High School in New York City. Patricia entered the Bloomingdales Executive Training Program in the late 1950's and remained an executive in the fashion and retail industries until the late 1980's when she semi retired to explore more travel and academics. She attended Montclair State College and lived in Upper Montclair for 22 years before moving to Ocean Grove 12 years ago. She was predeceased by her parents and by her brother, James Harold Farley who died in 1986. Surviving is her husband, Carl J. Hoffman whom she married in 1975 at the St. Bede Chapel in Williamsburg, VA and her cousin Gerald Fay of Florida. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 PM with memorial services beginning at 7:00 PM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove.
