PATRICIA HAWTHORNE, 61, of BRADLEY BEACH, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at the Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She had worked in the customer service department for the Trans American Insurance Company, Hackensack until retiring. She was a communicant of the Roman Catholic Church of the Ascension, Bradley Beach. Born in New York, NY, Mrs. Hawthorne had lived in Wood-Ridge, then Hackensack before moving here ten years ago. Surviving are her husband, James Hawthorne, a son, James Hawthorne, Jr., of Red Bank, two daughters, Sandra Hawthorne-Tormey and her husband Michael of Colts Neck and Cynthia Hawthorne of Trenton, and her grandchildren, John James Edwards, Jr., Shannon Rose Tormey and Joey Pierantoni. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at the Roman Catholic Church of the Ascension, 501 Brinley Avenue, Bradley Beach on Saturday morning, July 1 at 10:00 with entombment following at the Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. Friends were invited to call at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the the Tomorrow's Children Fund, 30 Prospect Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
