Patricia O. Babe Lyons, of Ocean Grove, died Friday, April 29, 2011, at home. Mrs. Lyons trained at Bethesda Naval Hospital, then worked at Columbus Hospital as a scrub nurse. Born in Newark, she lived in Kearny before moving to Ocean Grove in 1975.

She was predeceased by her husband, James J. Lyons; her parents, Metro and Katherine Cemota; sisters, Helen Hompesch, Nancy Giuffrida, Anna Davis, Mary Suhoke, and Pearl Cemota; brothers, John, Nick, Peter, Metro, and Anthony Cemota; and her great-nephews, David Woupes and George Suhoke. She is survived by her niece, Sheryl Hompesch; and many other relatives and friends, including her aide, Kaittlaine Antoine. Visitation is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7 at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Ave., Ocean Grove. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 80 Embury Ave., Ocean Grove. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover
