MARTHA BALLENTINE, 85, of OCEAN GROVE, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mrs. Ballentine was a charter Member of the Whiting Methodist Church, Whiting and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove. Born in Elizabeth, N. J., she lived there for 60 years and then in Whiting until 1992 before moving here. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford L. Ballentine Sr., in 1983. Surviving are a son, Clifford L., Jr., of Randolph, a daughter, Barbara J. Signorelli of Medford and two grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Ballentine. A graveside ceremony was held at the Whiting Memorial Park, Manchester Township with burial following. A memorial ceremony will be held in the chapel at the Francis Asbury Manor, 70 Stockton Ave. Ocean Grove on Sunday, June 26th at 3:00 PM.
