MARIGOULA KALLERGES, 95, of OCEAN GROVE, died Monday, November 15, 2010 at home. Mrs. Kallerges was a homemaker. She was a member of St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, Asbury Park. Born in Greece, she came to America in 1962 to live in Jersey City before settling in Ocean Grove 30 years ago. She was predeceased in 1984 by her husband, Nicholas L. Kallerges who owned the Dolphin Restaurant on Main Avenue in Ocean Grove. Surviving is her son, Leonidas Kallerges and his wife, Joanne, of Cranford, her daughters, Florence Laros of Bayonne, Stephanie Vasilakis of Nutley and Georgia Nicolaou and her husband, Chris, of Ocean Township, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Relatives and friends were invited to call at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home. 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove on Thursday from 4:00-9:00 PM. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, 700 Grand Avenue, Asbury Park on Friday morning at 11:00 AM with interment following at St. George's Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Neptune. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. George's Greek Orthodox Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
