Marie Lynn Cooper, of Wanamassa, died Friday August 7, 2015 at home. She had worked as a nurse and a writer before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband Dennis Cooper in 1993 and by her mother Catherine Bennett Andriessen. Surviving are her children, Ryan John Cooper and his wife Claire G. of Cranford, James Dennis Cooper of Spring Lake, Mary Kate S. Moses and her husband Ryan of Ocean Grove and Elizabeth M. Johnson and her husband Matthew of Mukilteo Washington, her sister, Catherine Burns, her brothers, John Edward and Thomas Andriessen, her father, John G. Andriessen and six grandchildren, James Shepard D. Cooper, Madalein E. Moses, Paul D. Cooper, Anne M. Cooper, Gemma M. Moses and Mark E. Johnson. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Church, 5 Asbury Avenue, Asbury Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated.
