MARGARET Peggy O'MEARA, of Brielle, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at home after a long illness. She began her career at Industrial Mica as a bookkeeper, working there for 25 years until moving to Bradley Beach in 1982. Mrs. O'Meara then worked for Monmouth Cablevision from its inception until retiring in 1998. While living in Bradley Beach she was a parishioner of the Church of the Ascension. After moving to Brielle, she bacame a member of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church, Manasquan. Born in Queens, New York, she was graduate of Dumont High School in Bergen County, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Edward, by parents, John and Eleanor McLoughlin and by her sister, Eleanor Puccio. Surviving are her sisters, Ann Marie Upton of Brick, and Joan Dedovich of Cape Coral, Florida, her brother, John McLoughlin of Bradley Beach and a host of nieces, grand nieces and great grand nieces. Relatives and friends were invited to call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, July 23rd at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension, 501 Brinley Avenue, Bradley Beach. Interment followed at St. Catharines Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Ladacin Network, 1701 Kneeley Boulevard, Wanamassa, NJ 07712, would be appreciated.
