Dr. Ludwig A. Brall, DDS, 91, of Ocean Grove died Tuesday, May 15. Dr. Brall was born in Patchogue, NY on September 8, 1926 and graduated Patchogue High School in 1944. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army and served as an Infantryman with the 40th Infantry Division in the Phillippine Islands during World War II, earning the rank of Sergeant. Then he served in the Army of Occupation in Korea for one year. He enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the School of Dentistry in 1952. Dr. Brall served as a First Lieutenant in the 71st Army Hospital in Berlin, Germany for two years. In 1955, he opened his dental office in Patchogue and practiced there until his retirement in 1984. Surviving is his son Martin Brall and his wife Kathy of Calverton, NY.
