Loren Lee Moses, 78, of Ocean Grove, died Friday February 7 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born on February 22, 1946, in Jersey City, NJ. Mr. Moses attended Neptune High School, then served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the Ocean Grove Fire Department for over 50 years and served as a crossing guard at the Summerfield School, where he was known as Mr. Lee. Mr. Moses enjoyed all things Disney, Traveling and Doo Wop Shows. He was predeceased by his parents, Loren T. and Jean Adaire Jessup Moses and by his stepmother Nancy Weldon Moses. Surviving are his wife, Melodie McGinnis Moses, his children Nancy and her husband Tim Schreiber, Lori Moses, Ryan Moses and his wife Mary Kate Moses and Patrick Moses, his brother, Philip Moses, his stepbrother, Greg Hammer his Sister-in-law- Elizabeth Castello, his niece Sandra Kreider and Family, his Nephew Philip Moses, his grandkids, T.J. Schreiber, Matty Schreiber, Denny Schreiber, Annie Schreiber, Robert Moses, Maddy Moses, Gemma Moses, Patrick Moses and his Great Grandkids, Jaxson Schreiber, Audree Schreiber and Dominic Dean. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 15, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul's Ocean Grove Church, 80 Embury Avenue, Ocean Grove. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Ocean Grove Fire Department or the Walt Disney Family Museum would be appreciated.
