Lois M. Werner, 96, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She grew up in Nutley, NJ, where she married her husband, Edward, and they raised their family of four children. Lois graduated from The Hospital of Saint Barnabas School of Nursing in 1948 and worked in nursing for over 50 years. She and her family spent summers in Tent City in Ocean Grove, NJ, where Lois was very involved with the Ocean Grove Ladies Auxiliary and the Ocean Grove Shuffleboard Club. She enjoyed quilting with friends and spending time with her family. Lois is survived by her daughters Patricia and Heidi, her son David and his wife Kathleen, her son Richard and his wife Annette, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue in Ocean Grove on Sunday, July 30 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, 54 Pittman Ave, Ocean Grove, NJ 07756 would be appreciated.
