Kenneth D. Walcott, 83, of Ocean Grove, died Wednesday December 28 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mr. Walcott was a SocialWorker for The Catholic Home Bureau of New York City, retiring in 1997. He received his Bachelors degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA. Mr. Walcott was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a paratrooper. Born in Upper Manhattan, he lived in New York City before moving to Ocean Grove 15 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Leacock-Walcott, his children, grand children and great grandchildren and his brother, William Walcott of Stonybrook, Long Island. Relatives and friends may call on Monday January 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM atthe Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with interment following at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.
