JOHN J. O'BRIEN, 68, of OCEAN GROVE, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was a self employed taxi driver and a musician performing in many locations, including New York and Las Vegas. Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Kearny and Harrison before moving to Ocean Grove more than 30 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Judith E. Brinkman O'Brien, a daughter, Dawn O'Brien of Sewell, NJ and three grandchildren Craig O'Brien, Bryan McKay and Krystal McKay. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday, April 18th at 10:00 AM at the Roman Catholic Church of the Ascension, 501 Brinley Avenue, Bradley Beach. There were no calling hours.
