Obituary


JOHN JASKULA, 87, of BRADLEY BEACH, died Saturday, November 12, 2005, at home. He had worked as an instrumentation technician for Midway Aircraft, Moonachie, NJ for more than forty years until retiring in 1986. He was veteran of the United States Army, serving in the European Theater during World War II. He participated in the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Jaskula was a member of the American Legion, Post 170, Rochelle Park, NJ and was active in the Bradley Beach Senior Center. Born in Esmond, RI, he lived in Poland, then Canada, before returning to the United Sates, prior to World War II. He was predeceased by his first wife, Claire Gosselin Jaskula in 1994. John loved three things, Lola, coffee and hard rolls. Surviving are his wife Lola Arter, and two sons, Gary J. Jaskula of New York, NY and Brian W. Jaskula of Manassas, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at the Ascension Roman Catholic Church, 501 Brinley Avenue, Bradley Beach on Wednesday, November 16th at 10:00 AM with burial following at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Friends were invited to call at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove on Tuesday from 4-8.
