John H. Henry, 90, of Ocean Grove, died Thursday April 26 at home. He was a personnel manager for MM Mars, Inc., in Hackettstown for 30 years before retiring in 1984. Mr. Henry was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, he lived in Hackettstown and Brooksville, Florida before moving to Ocean Grove. He was predeceased by his wife, Ida R. Henry in 1991. Surviving are three sons, John H. Henry, Jr., of Ocean Grove, David B. Henry of Upper Black Eddy, PA and Robert A. Henry of Easton, PA, one daughter,Linda C. Lynn Carol of Upper Black Eddy, PA, a brother, Paul Henry of Hickory, NC, a sister Ruth Steiner and her husband Paul of Ft. Wayne, Ind. and two grandchildren, Ellen I Henry and Benjamin D. Henry. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home. 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with interment following at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the VNA of Central Jersey, would be appreciated.
