George Armenti III of Stirling son of George Armenti Jr and Phyllis (nee Vitelli) Armenti passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, June 11, 2026 surrounded by his family, after a courageous journey that demonstrated remarkable strength, resilience, and determination.
More than twelve years ago, George suffered a traumatic brain injury as the result of a motorcycle accident. Throughout the years that followed, he faced countless challenges with courage and perseverance, inspiring those around him with his enduring spirit and the love he shared with family and friends.
George was a talented drummer and gifted musician whose passion for music brought joy to many. Whether performing, practicing, or simply sharing his love of rhythm with others, music was an important part of who he was. His creativity, talent, and enthusiasm left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. George was a motorcycle enthusiast. He went on many trips with his friends and family and enjoyed riding cross country with his father.
George also took great pride in his career as a heavy equipment operator and was a dedicated member of Local 825. He loved his work and earned the respect of his colleagues through his strong work ethic, skill, and commitment to his trade.
Above all, George cherished his family. He will be remembered for his strength, his love of music, his sense of humor, and the bonds he shared with those closest to him. His presence brought comfort and happiness to many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
He leaves behind a family who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him and carry his spirit with them always.
May he rest in peace.
A viewing will be Thursday June 18 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at St. Vincent DePaul Roman Catholic Church, 250 Bebout Avenue, Stirling. A funeral liturgy will be offered at the church on Friday June 19 at 10:00 AM with interment following at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Stirling.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Long Hill Township First Aid Squad, PO Box 145 Gillette, NJ 07933 would be appreciated.
