ELSA G. DOUGAN, 92, of the Wayside section of OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at the Wayside Retirement Center. She had worked as a clerk for the NJ Natural Gas Company, Asbury Park until retiring. Mrs. Dougan was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Asbury Park and had attended the Hamilton United Methodist Church, Neptune. Born in Setauket, NY, she had lived in Belmar, then Shark River Hills for 40 years before moving here seven years ago. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Harrington in 1953, and her second husband, John Dougan in 1968. Surviving are a son, Col. Charles F. Harrington, Jr., (Ret.) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, a daughter, Jean M. Wherett of Allenhurst, six grandchildren and twelve greatgrandchildren. Services were private.
