EARL P. CARTER, 88, of Ocean Grove died Sunday, October 28, 2007, at home. Mr. Carter was the building and brounds supervisor for the North Arlington Board of Education before retiring. He was a member of the North Arlington Elks and St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove. Born in McAdoo, PA, he had lived in North Arlington before moving to Ocean Grove in 1980. He was predeceased by his parents, Gustave and Maude Davis Carter, by his sister Irene Lowry, and by his brothers, Wendell and Donald Carter. Surviving are his wife, Marie Winslow Carter, a son, Richard Carter, and his wife, Donna, of Monmouth Beach, his two precious granddaughters, Lauren and Kristen, his loving nieces, Joyce Abrams, Joan Kartan and Lore Salata, and his nephew, Dr. Pete Carter. A memorial service was held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Embury and New York Avenues, Ocean Grove on Sunday, afternoon, November 18 at 1:00.
