Dawn E. Ayers of Red Bank, passed away July 19, 2026.

She was born in New Jersey in 1964 and was a lifelong resident of Red Bank. She attended and graduated from Middletown South High School in Middletown. She graduated from Brookdale Community College and also worked for the Brookdale bookstore. She went on to work at the A&P Food Store. She stopped working to help care for her mother at home for many years.

Dawn was passionate about books, reading and collecting many in her lifetime. She also loved old movies and animals, and owned many dogs with her mother and father over the years. She never married or had kids but was like a big sister to some of her many nieces and nephews.

Dawn was predeceased  by her father, Daniel Ayers Sr, her two sisters, Regina Wallace and Bonnie McKelvey and her great aunt Jean Duggan.
Dawn is survived by her mother, Ruth Ann Ayers, her brother Daniel Ayers, Jr., her nieces  and nephews, Stacey Ayers, Kelly & Shanna Wallace, Kahriya Pryor and Erin, Sean, Justyn, Fred and Lauren McKelvey.
