BYRON R. Barn COUNCIL, 56, of NEPTUNE, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at home. He was employed by the Asbury Park Press, having worked in the distribution department for the last 13 years. Mr. Council was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a diehard NY Giants fan. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Alberta Braxton Council and by his sister, Sharon Council. Surviving are his wife, Donna Council, his son Jelani A. Council of Neptune, three daughters, Stephani Agolio of Georgia, Danielle Agolio and Lateefah Council, both of Neptune, two brothers, William Council, Jr. of Edgewater Park and Stanley Niblack of Newark, three sisters, Cerena Quasim of Brooklyn, Debra Washington of La Cruz, NM and Ursula Jenkins of Asbury Park, nine grandchildren, Shaquashia Agolio, Destiny Fields, D'Onna Stout, Devin Stout, Karon Council, Corey Stout, Trinity Fields, Kennedy Fields, and Saadyia Jones and one great grandchild Jaaziya Jones. Viewing hours will be Saturday from 1-4 PM with a funeral service following at 4 PM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove.
