ANITA R. NELSON, 88, of OCEAN GROVE, died Monday, Oct. 17, at the Manor-by-the-Sea, Ocean Grove. She was a homemaker. Born in Bergen County, she lived there before moving to Neptune 50 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Martin Nelson, in 1992. Surviving are a son, Martin Nelson of Morristown; a daughter, Merri Nelson of Purcellville, Va.; and two grandchildren.
A private graveside ceremony will be held in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls, with burial following. There were no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Embracing Hospice Care, 2101 Highway 34, Suite B, Wall, NJ 07719, would be appreciated.
