ANDREW J. EGNER, Jr., 83, of OCEAN GROVE and Livingston, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mr. Egner was the President of Orange Savings Bank and after its merger with Hudson City Savings Bank, he served as Executive Vice President. After a 65 year career in banking, he retired from the board of directors at age 80. Mr. Egner was an elder and choir member at the William Street Presbyterian Church in Orange and later the First Presbyterian Church of Orange. He was past president of the YMCA of Orange and Maplewood and was the current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges. Mr. Egner was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Marine Corps for more than 4 years. He was a 71 year member of the Ocean Grove Auditorium Ushers Association, a member of the Ocean Grove Finance Committee, a member of the Ocean Grove Choir and past president of Rosedale Cemetery in Orange. Mr. Egner was born in Orange on November 5, 1924 to Andrew J. and Lavina Ronsley Egner. Surviving are his wife, Ruth
