ALMA M. GRIFFIN, 88, of BRADLEY BEACH, died peacefully after a short illness on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was a bank teller for the PNC Bank until retiring in 1984. Mrs. Griffin was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove, the church's United Methodist Women, its Adult Fellowship and she volunteered with the food pantry. She loved ice cream, walking, family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis E. Griffin in 1986. Surviving are a daughter, Helen, and her husband, John Stocum, a granddaughter, Beverly, and her husband, Joshua Burns, a grandson, Jonathan Stocum, and his wife, Jessica, two great grandchildren, Joshua and Jack Burns, and two sisters, Carolyn Peters and Ruth Hilldale. A graveside service was held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 18th at the Monmouth Memorial Park, Route 33, Tinton Falls, with burial following. There were no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Aviation Ministry of Steve Quigg, Wings of Caring, Inc., 416 Red Hill Road, Pequea, PA 17565 would be appreciated.
