Heather Ann Ferguson Walton

Heather Ann (Ferguson) Walton, 70, of Orient, ME and Wayside, NJ, died suddenly on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at her residence in Maine. She was born in Long Branch, NJ, the daughter of John W. B. & Jeanette (Knight) Ferguson. Heather lived in Asbury Park and Wayside, NJ until she and her husband moved to the willy wags of northeastern Maine in 2006. They continue to maintain a winter residence in Wayside, NJ. She was a graduate of the Bradley (grammar) School and Asbury Park High School, had attended Eastern Baptist College in St. Davids, PA and was a graduate of the St. Francis School of Nursing in Trenton, NJ. She had worked as a registered nurse for short periods at the Jersey Shore (University) Medical Center in Neptune, NJ and in a private doctor’s office before joining the classified advertising staff at the Asbury Park Press for six years until 1993. With her husband, oldest daughter and son-in-law, she owned and operated the Million Dollar View Restaurant in Weston, ME between 1997 and 1999. In New Jersey, Heather was an honorary member of the Ariel Club in Interlaken; had been a Girl Scout Leader in Ocean Township; was active with The Center in Asbury Park and was a member of the Asbury Park Garden Club. In 2011 she took up painting with acrylics and became an accomplished landscape artist. Heather was known to many as Heddie ... and sometimes, in jest, Hester ... and Hector (by one little imp who Heather helped raise ~ and who has a couple of imps of her own now). Her grandsons both called her Dee (short for Heddie) ... which is how she got her e-mail screen name. When Ben was a youngster just learning to speak, he called himself Fee (short for Feenut ... he couldn’t say “Peanut” ... which is what his mother called him) so Heather became and has remained these twenty or so years, Fee’s Dee. Buck called her, “Maw.” She was a gourmet cook, a Facebook enthusiast, a Gordon Setter lover, an expert telephone communicator, a playful Grandmother, committed friend and listener to many. Although she was not an outdoors-woman, she enjoyed traveling and motor-homing in a Winnebago before purchasing property in Maine. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William P. Walton III; a son; John David (& Rachel Mizrahi) Walton of Neptune, NJ; two daughters; Jill Blair (& Buck) Plummer of Brookton, ME and Cynthia Lynn (& Chris) Vellinga of Brick, NJ; two grandsons: Ben and Sam Plummer of Brookton, ME; two young granddaughters Tori and Lexi Walton of Neptune, NJ; a brother R. Bruce (& Linda) Ferguson of Neptune, NJ and several nieces and nephews. An informal gathering to celebrate Heather’s life will be held between 2:00 and 5:00 pm, Saturday, August 22nd at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street in Houlton, ME. Marie Lynn Cooper, of Wanamassa, died Friday August 7, 2015 at home. She had worked as a nurse and a writer before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband Dennis Cooper in 1993 and by her mother Catherine Bennett Andriessen. Surviving are her children, Ryan John Cooper and his wife Claire G. of Cranford, James Dennis Cooper of Spring Lake, Mary Kate S. Moses and her husband Ryan of Ocean Grove and Elizabeth M. Johnson and her husband Matthew of Mukilteo Washington, her sister, Catherine Burns, her brothers, John Edward and Thomas Andriessen, her father, John G. Andriessen and six grandchildren, James Shepard D. Cooper, Madalein E. Moses, Paul D. Cooper, Anne M. Cooper, Gemma M. Moses and Mark E. Johnson. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. Gladys Forsyth
Gladys Perry Forsyth, of Brick Township, died Saturday July 25, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Forsyth worked as a secretary for O’Malley Construction Company, Roseland. In 1966 she and her husband, Thomas took ownership of the company and operated as general contractors until retiring in 1995. She was a dedicated member of the Montgomery Presbyterian Church in Belleville and the First Presbyterian Church of Belmar. She and her husband enjoyed many years as owners and operators of the Melrose Hotel and 6 Webb Avenue in Ocean Grove. They also enjoyed traveling around the country and the world. She was born in Bellevidere and raised there and in Belleville. She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas in 2007, by her parents, Lloyd and Alma Perry, by her sister Mary and brother in law, Donald and by her stepbrothers, George, Warren and Robert Gerber. Surviving are her niece, Donna Connelly Showalter and her husband, Ken, their children, Julia and Paul, her nephew David Connelly, her stepbrother Richard Gerber and his wife Elizabeth, her stepsisters, Helen Gerber Nadelman, Joan Gerber Sansom and her husband Howard, Janet Gerber Kain, Dorothea Gerber Westpy and her husband, Richard, five step children, Thomas Forsyth and his wife Cindy, Stephen Forsyth, Linda Forsyth Korowski, Laura Forsyth Campbell and her husband, Douglas, Barbara Forsyth Victor and her husband, Fred, many loving step grandchildren and nieces and nephews. William Leonard Grogan, 80, of Ocean Grove, passed away on July 20, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Binghamton, NY to the late Leonard and Lena O’Neill Grogan, William was an extremely successful businessman and dedicated employee of IBM for 44 years of his life. Joining IBM in 1960, he was renowned for his leadership abilities, rising to the executive level, and eventually developing a highly successful career in a variety of IBM facilities in the Westchester County area. In 1995, he married his wife, Lorraine, and the two retired in 2004 to Ocean Grove, New Jersey. An avid golfer, reader, and sports fan, William was a man whose tremendous work ethic and strong values brought him great success in all facets of life. Of all these things, nothing was as important to him as family. He had many friends in the Ocean Grove community, attended the Church of the Ascension in Bradley Beach, and is survived by his wife, Lorraine, and children, Geoffrey and wife Debbi of Windsor, NY, Catherine and husband Robert Martin of Torrington, Connecticut, David and wife Paivi of Marlborough, New York, and Teresa of South Salem, New York. He also leaves behind his siblings, Dennis and wife Dorothy of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Sandra and husband Gary Lederman of Hamburg, New York, as well as his grandchildren, Thomas Grogan, Patrick Grogan, and William Dorgan. Virginia A. Santaniello, 78, of Neptune, died Wednesday July 16, 2015 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She had worked as an executive at Grant’s Department Store in Neptune City, then for the Shop Rite in Freehold before finishing her career at CECOM at Fort Monmouth. Ginger enjoyed traveling thru Canada and the United States. Her favorite places were Las Vegas and Atlantic City. She loved animals, was most generous to children and tried to help anyone in need. Ginger was a 1956 graduate of St. Rose High School. She was gratefull to the healthcare workers who provided her care over the past few years. She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel S. Santaniello, Sr., and Cecelia Sullivan Santaniello, and by her brothers Michael Joseph and Samuel S. “Skip” Santaniello, Jr. Surviving are her family and friends. Edna Mae Gray Wilkins

Edna Mae Gray Wilkins, 99, of Ocean Grove passed away on July 5, 2015 at Medicenter in Neptune City. She was born on February 3, 1916, at St Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Caroline (Dunning) and Lester Borden. Her family relocated to the Bradley Beach, NJ area when she was five years old. She was raised there and was a graduate of the Bradley Beach School. Edna was married to William B. Gray, Sr. for 52 years. During that time, she resided in Neptune City and then Wall Township raising her family of five sons in both locations. Edna was a home maker and enjoyed spending time with her large family including her sister and brother-in-law, Lila and James Brice and their seven children. In later years, Edna resided in Ocean Grove and Bradley Beach. She was well known locally for her painting talents, especially her water colors of the Ocean Grove tent colony and other local shore area scenes. Edna and her husband William traveled extensively in Europe and the Caribbean, prior to his death. Edna was predeceased by her first husband William B. Gray, Sr., her second husband Daniel Wilkins, her son James and his wife Sheryl Gray, her parents Caroline (Dunning) and Lester Borden and her sister and brother-in-law, Lila and James Brice. Surviving are her sons William Jr. and his wife Rosemary of Shark River Hills, John and his wife Sharon of Stauton, VA, Edward of Jackson and David of Brick. She is also survived by ten grandchildren William (Angela) Gray III, J. Allen (Regina) Gray, Jennifer (Harry) Brown, Eileen (Keith) Ferrugia, James (Elizabeth) Gray, Jeannine (George) Sico, Selena (Travis) Brown, Monica Gray, Tara Gray and Alexandra Gray, twelve great grand children and one great great grand child. She is also survived by her cousin, Norma Gould and the Brice Family of seven nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will be held at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Ave Ocean Grove on Wednesday, July 8, from 4pm to 7pm with a memorial service celebrating Edna’s life at 7pm. Interment will be at the Hamilton Methodist Cemetery on the corner of Old Corlies and West Bangs Avenues on Thursday, July 9 at 11am. Prior to her passing, Edna resided for 14 years at Francis Asbury Manor Assisted Living in Ocean Grove. Her family is extremely grateful to the administration and Staff for the care and support she received during that time. The last six months of her life were spent at Medicenter in Neptune City. Her family extends a very special thank you to the administrator and staff for their love and care. Also, her family is very thankful for her long time physician Dr. Donald Micallef for his care and compassionate treatment of Edna. Susan Moran
Susan Moran, 57, of Ocean Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 9. She had worked at JCP&L for over 20 years. Susan was a Girl Scout Troop leader and avid gardener. Her loved ones will remember her for her beautiful smile, contagious laugh and most of all her warm heart. Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Michael, her daughters Melissa and Kelly, her son-in-law Luke, her brothers Stan, Scott and Stephen, her mother-in-law Mary, and her brothers and sisters-in-law Kevin, John, Mary, Lynne and Lori. A memorial mass in Susan’s honor will be offered at Holy Innocents Church, 3455 West Bangs Avenue, Neptune on Tuesday, June 16 at 10:00 AM. |

Dorothy Rose, artist and long time teacher in the Toms River School district passed away on Mother’s Day Sunday; May 10th at JSUMC at the age of 89. Dorothy was born July 3, 1925 in Camden, NJ, the only child of Elwood Roberts and Elsie Koelle Roberts. Dorothy was a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts. She exhibited her paintings, frequently under the name “E. Koelle Roberts,” in many venues including Ocean Grove and Ocean City, NJ. Dorothy was known for her expertise in varied media but pastel was her true love. She also excelled at watercolor and acrylic and was a gifted portraitist. She taught in the Toms River School District for over thirty years. Among her many awards was inclusion in Who’s Who in Education. She and art teacher Ethel Lewis began the annual Halloween Window Painting on the store fronts on Main Street, a tradition that continues to this day. She was predeceased by her beloved husband; Donald Furcillo Rose in 1997 and by her loving daughter, award-winning artist, journalist and radio personality : Donna Jean Rose in 2005 and by her cousin; Roy Crispin in 2005. She is survived by her cousin Ruth Crispin Helmetag and her husband; Dr. Charles Helmetag and their children; Diana and Steven. Also surviving is her cousin; Barbara Crispin, dear friend; Robin Thompson and her 4 legged babies; ‘Onyx’ and ‘DJ’. Dorothy has lived in Ocean Grove for the past 20 years. Her love of life was inspiring and she was a friend to all of ‘God’s Creatures’. Her positive outlook and sage advice will be missed by all who knew her. A viewing will be Thursday May 14 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove. Stelle Mottley
Stella “Stelle” Palka Mottley, 98, of Long Branch, died peacefully at home with her son present on Wednesday April 8, 2015. She was born in Dickson City, Pennsylvania and grew up on her family’s dairy farm in Cherry Ridge, near Honesdale, PA. During the Great Depression and World War II, she left catholic school to work as a governess in Manhattan and as a hostess at “The Dean’s” in Ocean Grove. Stelle was predeceased by her husband, Thomas P. Mottley, Sr., by her parents, Jozef and Helen Palka, by her brothers, Edward and Joseph, Jr., and Stanley and by her beloved sister, Rose. She was a resident of Long Branch, for over 60 years, most of that time in the West End section, and was communicant of St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church there. Stelle was a strong woman, devoted homemaker, dedicated to her family who always made the best out of every situation. She was a passionate reader of many subjects, from ancient history to Shakespeare to poetry to novels and politics. She spoke conversational Polish language, and was a believer in the importance of education and learning. Stelle enjoyed the Long Branch Public Library, Monmouth Park, Atlantic City, Florida as well as the boardwalk and dining out. Surviving is her son, Thomas P. Mottley, Jr., with whom she lived. Thelma “Teak” Kershaw Gillan, 99, of Shark River Hills died at home on March 25, 2015. Teak was a lifelong resident of Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, and Neptune, NJ. She was born June 25, 1915, to Ida and Thomas Kershaw in New York City. The family moved to Asbury Park in 1919 after first summering there. After her father’s untimely death in December of 1928, her mother transformed their home on Sunset Lake into a rooming house. Teak spent her childhood on the move, lettering in everything from field hockey and basketball to water polo. She also enjoyed ice staking, swimming and “surfing” on her mother’s ironing board. She graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1933, and remained a lifelong supporter. After high school, Teak spent several years working in banking in New York City. She met William “Bill” Gillan, Jr. through First Baptist Church of Asbury Park, and the two were married there in 1939 and took a charter boat to Florida for their honeymoon. During WWII, as her husband trained for and fought in the army, they lived in the south. After WWII, the couple welcomed two children, Barbara “Bobbie” Joan and later William “Bud”, into their family. Jointly, Teak and her husband owned several businesses including Gillan Home Services, Bill’s Tackle Shop, The Sandpiper, The Boat Dock, and Fish and Chips Seafood. While raising a family and helping to run the businesses, Teak was also a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was a student of the Bible and taught many classes in it. Teak also loved to socialize and serve others, and their home was often the epicenter of activity for friends, youth groups, missionaries, church gatherings, and family gatherings. These gatherings usually included her fantastic cooking, especially fresh seafood. Teak was a self-proclaimed beach bum, spending summers on the sand with their huge beach gang. She also loved the water, spending much time with her husband, a maritime specialist and fisherman, on his boats. A constant nature hobbyist and birder, Teak always maintained a beautiful garden full of trees, flowers, and fruit as well multiple bird feeders. In her 70s, she beat cancer through radical changes in her diet, becoming a pioneer of using healthy foods to fight disease. She advocated voting and participation in local and national politics. Perhaps Teak’s most lasting impact is her positive connection with others through mentorship, encouragement and continuous prayer. Teak is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Bill, and her daughter, Bobbie. She is survived by her son William “Bud” D. Gillan, III and his wife Nancy Ann of Boca Raton, FL, and their children Jamie B. Gillan of Washington, DC, and Hans M. Gillan of Philadelphia, PA; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren Randy Larrison and his wife Lynn of Centerreach, NY, and their children Kieran Lynn and Mikaela Glen; Mindy Copenhaver and her husband Shawn of Jupiter, FL, her daughter Devanny Moira and their son Rhett William; Wendy Larrison of Tampa, FL; and Adam Ewart of Columbus, OH; and being the matriarch of a large family, numerous nieces, nephews, and grand and great nieces and nephews. A memorial celebration will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 4th at First Baptist Church of Asbury Park, 508 Third Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ 07712. Rita A. Weston
Rita A. Weston passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Applewood Care Center, Freehold, NJ. She was 97 years old. Rita was born in Bayonne, NJ on April 19, 1917. She also lived in New York City, Seaford, Long Island and Florida for almost 40 years before moving to Freehold in 2007. Rita was a registered nurse working last for the Massapequa school system in Long Island, NY. Rita was a 1935 graduate of Holy Family Academy, Bayonne, and received her nursing degree from the Bayonne Hospital School of Nursing and her BSN from New York University. While working at the Knickerbocker Hospital in New York City she met her beloved husband John Weston. Rita was a devoted wife and cousin, an avid golfer and bowler and loved to play cards. Rita is predeceased by her husband John Weston who passed way in 1998, as well as by her parents John and Nora Donlon-Gill, her devoted aunt and uncle, Ann and John McNelis, and cousins Francis X. McNelis and Bernadette Harz. Surviving are three cousins Eileen McNelis, Avon; Ann Brandon, East Windsor; and Mary Boyle, Bradley Beach along with many of Rita and John’s nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015. The family will be accepting visitors beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension Church 501 Brinley Avenue Bradley Beach, followed by a memorial mass of Christian burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. |
Arax Gulbenkian
Arax Vartouhi Gulbenkian, age 87, died Friday, March 13th 2015 at Francis Asbury Manor in Ocean Grove. She was a long time resident of Ocean Grove who spent summers on this part of the New Jersey Coast since her childhood. Arax worked most of her life as a biochemist for the Schering Drug Company. She loved quilting and her quilts have appeared in exhibitions. She also enjoyed tennis, gardening and traveling in foreign lands. After her retirement, Arax was a volunteer for many years at the Jersey Shore Medical Center and various neighboring rehab centers where she helped and entertained patients as well as serving in the admitting office. She is survived by her brother, Garabed Gulbenkian. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 18th at 12pm at Saint Stepanos Armenian Church, 1184 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch, NJ. Interment will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at The Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY. |
Margaret D. Bott
Margaret D. Bott, 101, of Ocean Grove, died Monday March 9, 2015 at Francis Asbury Manor, Ocean Grove. She worked for many years as an Office Manager for the American Mission to the Greeks in Ridgefield, NJ. Mrs. Bott was a former member of both the Trinity Evangelical Free Church, Teaneck and the Trinity Lutheran Church, Bogota. On her 100th birthday, she was made an honorary member of the Atonement Lutheran Church, Asbury Park. Margaret enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and knitting. She was predeceased by her husband Willis Bott in 1978 and by her son Jonathan Bott in 2011. Surviving are her sons, Willis C. Bott and his wife Carol of Park Ridge, NJ, Steven A. Bott of Wanamassa, and Thomas L. Bott and his wife Sue of West Chester, PA, 6 grandchildren, Jeffrey Bott, Kevin Bott, Eric Bott and his wife Michelle, Andrew Bott, Meridith Baril and her husband Jason and Jennifer Haraburda and her husband, Drew and 4 great grandchildren, Morgan Bott, Nathan Bott, Mia Rose Baril and Lucas Haraburda. A private burial will be at George Washington Memorial Park Paramus. A memorial service will be held at Francis Asbury Manor in Ocean Grove at a later date. |

Donald James Flay
Donald J. Flay, 82, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Donald was born and raised in Bayonne. He was a graduate of Bayonne High School. Donald spent the majority of his life residing in Ocean Grove with his wife and children up to his passing. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Margaret; sister, Alice Kirsch, and daughter, Marcia Christine. Surviving are his wife, Janice, his children Gail-Marie Flay and husband Robert Bazzini of West Chester, PA; Robert Flay of Turnersville, NJ; Carol Flay of Ocean Grove; Cheryl Armstrong of Barneget, NJ; Lynda Chadwick and husband Mark of Neptune, NJ; Grandchildren - Lexi, Julia, Jocelyn, Christine, Jordan, Taylor, Robbie, Connor, and Jake; and Great Granddaughter, Jayden; Nieces, Sharon Spears and husband Alan of Richmond, KY; and Dawn Browning and husband Dan of Westfield, NJ in addition to their families. He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Ocean Grove. Donald was an avid and very passionate NY sports fan and could normally be found either watching his favorite teams or talking sports with anyone and everyone he came in contact with. He enjoyed the bitter sweet rivalry and bantering brought on by his family, especially if the NY Giants were playing the Eagles. He enjoyed the simplicity of relaxing in his favorite chair, remote in hand, and flipping through his favorite sports on TV. He had a passion for horses and the race track. He never lost; only the horses did, as he would often say! He loved spending time with his children at their homes and going to hockey and baseball games where he could root against the Philly teams (after all, he was a NY fan)! “Hey, Bob, I’ll get ya next time….Double or nothing”. Thomas K. Barbur

Thomas K. Barbur, 84, of Avon NJ, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Manor by the Sea in Ocean Grove, NJ. Tom grew up in Greenwich, NY, and graduated from Greenwich High School in 1949. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Elizabeth Barbur and his sister, Marion Morse. Tom attended Morrisville State College, where he played basketball and baseball, graduated in 1951, and was inducted into the Morrisville State Athletic Wall of Fame. Tom then attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, where he graduated in 1955. He was Hartwick’s basketball team captain and an all-time leading scorer with 1,178 career points. Tom ranked as one of the top free-throw shooters in the nation and, during his final college game, he scored a record-breaking 42 points. He was inducted into the Hartwick Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998. Following college, Tom served in the United States Army at Fort Monmouth, NJ. During his early years, Tom lived on a dairy farm. This experience guided him toward a 30-year career in sales and marketing of agricultural equipment for International Harvester (later Case IH) in New York, New England and the Midwest. Tom was an avid golfer and home renovator. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and cherished friends. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve (nee Youngs), his two children, Linda Henderson and Peter Barbur, and his three grandchildren, Timothy, Elisabeth and Reid Henderson. Alice M. Hoffmann
Alice M. Hoffmann, 89, of Ocean Grove, died Sunday February 8 at Manor by the Sea, Ocean Grove. Mrs. Hoffmann was a homemaker. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, a member of the Jerry Lynch Social Club, The Barbaric Bean Coffee Group, and a past member of the Roseland Elks Lodge. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Born in Morristown, she lived in Morris Plains, then Caldwell, before moving permanently in 1982 to Ocean Grove, where she had summered for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin H. Hoffmann in 1982. Surviving are her two sons, Conrad Hoffmann and his wife Pat of Toms River and John Hoffmann and his wife Sheree of Belford, her five daughters, Lisa Noll and her husband, Don, of Howell, Marian Welzmuller of Bonita Springs, FL, Diane Pastena and her husband, Jim, of Mt. Olive, NJ, Catherine Baatz and husband Joe of Lakewood, and Marie Hoffmann-Hiis and her husband, Doug of Union Beach, 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday February 10 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove . A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with interment following at Prospect Hills Cemetery, Caldwell, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Angel Fund at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 80 Embury Avenue Ocean Grove, NJ 07756 , would be appreciated.

Peggie Gibney. Kology, of Belmar, (formerly of Jersey City) passed away Monday February 2, 2015 in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Kology attended St. Aloysius High School, Jersey City and Katherine Gibbs Business School, New York. Mrs. Kology was the assistant to The Medical Director at The Western Electric and later worked for The Hudson County Welfare Board before retiring. Mrs. Kology was a communicant of The Church of St. Rose, Belmar where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector for over 35 years. She was a member of the altar rosary society. Mrs. Kology was a member of The Jerry Lynch social and civic club, Women of Irish Heritage, Primetimers and St. Aloysius Alumni Association. She was predeceased by her husband Paul S. Kology, her beloved son Joseph, her parents Joseph H. Gibney, Margaret M. Ryan Gibney, her brothers Rev. Robert G. Gibney, Joseph H. Gibney Jr., John A. Gibney, stepdaughter Marilyn Nolan, and stepson William Kology. Surviving are her daughter Patricia Ann Lepis, her beloved grandaughter Shannon Ann Dangler and husband John, her great grandson Jon Anthony, great grandaughters Samantha and Charlie, her beloved grandaughter Carla Ann Lepis and her husband Joseph,10 step grandchildren, 25 step great grandchildren. Mrs. Kology is also survived by her stepdaughter Adele and husband Greg, daughter in-law Colleen Kology, sisters in-law Judith Gibney and Mary Gibney, her beloved God daughter Mary Gibney-Doherty, God son Thomas Gibney and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. EMILY T. MIGUT, 79, of Bradley Beach, died Saturday, January 24, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Newark, she grew up in Farmingdale and Wanamassa before moving to Bradley Beach. She graduated from Asbury Park High School and worked in the note department of Allenhurst National Bank before retiring. She was preceded by her parents, August and Pia Weiss, and her husband, Frank Migut. Surviving are a son, Peter Migut of Bradley Beach, and several cousins and nieces and nephews-in-law. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ocean Grove Memorial Home, 118 Main Ave., Ocean Grove. A funeral ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by burial at Hamilton Cemetery, Neptune. |
